I live just outside Winchester, Hampshire and work throughout Hampshire, Berkshire and Surrey. I have been working with families since 1991, when I qualified from Norland College and worked as a nanny in London for eight years.
I got married in 1998 and set up my own baby food business going into private homes and cooking a month's supply of wholesome baby food, put it in the freezer and returned each month to restock.
My son was born in 2001, followed by my daughter in 2002 and we move to Hampshire.
I became a full-time mum looking after our two children, two border terriers, a cat and our small holding of chickens, sheep, pigs and a pony. When my daughter was settled in school I decided to go back to work as a postnatal doula allowing me to fit work around my own family life.
In 2015, I was accepted at the University of Worcester and studied with the National Childbirth Trust (NCT) for a degree in Birth & Beyond to become an Antenatal Teacher, Yoga Instructor and Baby Massage Instructor.
As life slowly returns to a new normal my classes have returned to Easton Village Hall and streamed on Zoom for those unable to attend in person.
I teach IN PERSON & ONLINE Yoga in Pregnancy, Mother & Baby Yoga and Baby Massage.
I run my ONLINE NCT Antenatal classes in the evening and Saturdays helping to prepare new parents for birth and beyond . (For more information visit www.nct.org.uk/courses-workshops/nct-live-online-antenatal-course)
During the day I still work as a postnatal doula.
My loves are my children, dogs and cat, yoga, walking, pilates - and cake!
